Originally from Chile and now residing in Berlin, Alejandro Urrutia works with the synergies between architectural and sculptural principles. His practice, inspired by the observation of Nature, aims to materialize physical phenomena such as gravity, balance, tension, resistance and the exchange of forces taking shape in sculptural objects that incorporate the viewer and their surroundings through reflections, distorting the perception of reality and questioning our place in this world.
Sculptures representing Balance in the dialectic between movement and harmony, through natural cycles and physical forces in equilibrium. Urrutia has exhibited in England, Croatia, Germany, Denmark, Mexico and Chile. He has participated in Enter and Chart fair in Copenhagen, Art Paris, Material fair in Mexico, Cosmoscow fair and in the London art Biennale 2025.
